Meet The Team

Rebecca Skinner

Rebecca qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2001 and is the Director of Speech Therapy and author for Thriving Language. She also works as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS.

Becky Poulter Jewson

Becky has over 25 years’ experience working with children and families as a qualified Early Years Lead in practice, she is the Director of Early Years and published Author for Thriving Language CIC.

Becky works with settings and schools to create communication rich environments where children and teams thrive together.

She is also co-founder of The Forest Play Approach training and is an advocate for play, communication and the outdoors!

Becky works closely with Mindy Pickering to develop sustainable, child led practice with families and educators. Offering training packages that work in practice and put children at the heart of education.

She is the co-creator of Thriving Language Podcasts alongside Rebecca Skinner, where they discuss everything early years.

Rebecca Skinner and Becky Poulter Jewson are the co-founders of Thriving Language. Having worked together in Childrens Centres for many years, they could see the true benefit of Early Years and Speech and Language Therapy working together in complete harmony to support children and families.
