Your role as communication partner:

• Simple Language – there is no need to use ‘baby-talk.’  Use simple language to talk about the here and now

• The Power of Everyday – repeating words whilst carrying out everyday activities such as nappy changing introduces new vocabulary

• Singing – singing songs with actions provides opportunity for repetition of words and allows baby to join in.
